Joint ACL and WBL e-Learning Forum

31 Mar 2010 (Morning event)
10:00 - 13:00 (registration from 09:30)
Wolverhampton Science Park, Wolverhampton, West Midlands

--- CLOSED ---
Brief Details:This is a joint WBL and ACL forum and is your opportunity to meet and network with other providers from both within your sector and outside.

Learn what others are doing, hear about the latest developments and share good practice.
Information:This year’s first Adult and Community Learning and Work Based Learning E-Learning Forum offers another great opportunity for providers to learn about the available support for e-learning and (ILT) Information Learning Technology.

The forum offers you a chance to learn more about the many national and regional initiatives currently taking place in both sectors. This one will include a look at the Excellence Gateway, with Susan Easton from NIACE showing effective ways for using the Excellence Gateway for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Matt Gallon, the Learning Resources Advisor, will show providers where and how to obtain e-Resources for ACL and WBL delivery.

The forum will also include an update on the Technology Exemplar Network – Jointly led by Becta and the Learning and Skills Council, the Technology Exemplar Network supports learning providers' use of technology through peer support.

All this plus the usual Regional Support Centre updates outlining any current staff development opportunities, funding opportunities, regional projects and initiatives and more. Attendees will also get an opportunity to what others are doing; hear about any recent developments in e-learning and share good practice.

There should be something for everyone interested in developing their e-learning (and lunch to conclude the event!)
Target Audience: RSC-WM supported Adult and Community Learning & Work Based Learning providers (including all e-guides) based in the West Midlands region.
